National Association of State Fire Marshals (NASFM)
NCOAA is proud to launch the CO Safety Coalition at NASFM’s 33rd Annual Fire Prevention & Safety Symposium. NASFM's Mission Is Two-Fold: 1) To protect human life, property and the environment from fire. 2) To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of State Fire Marshals' operations.
The membership of National Association of State Fire Marshals (NASFM) comprises the most senior fire officials in the United States. State Fire Marshals' responsibilities vary from state to state, but Marshals tend to be responsible for fire safety code adoption and enforcement, fire and arson investigation, fire incident data reporting and analysis, public education and advising Governors and State Legislatures on fire protection. Some State Fire Marshals are responsible for fire fighter training, hazardous materials incident responses, wildland fires and the regulation of natural gas and other pipelines.
CO Research Trust
The CO Research Trust is a registered charity, established in 2005. Our objective is to reduce the incidents of death and serious injury from carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. Our key focus is research, as we believe that this will make the greatest difference to everyone exposed to CO poisoning, now and in the future. The Trust provides grant funding, advice and support to organizations wishing to carry out research and evidence gathering relating to safety.

National Center for Healthy Housing
The National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH) is the preeminent national nonprofit dedicated to securing healthy homes for all. Automatic Fire Alarm Association
The Automatic Fire Alarm Association (AFAA) is the only not-for-profit association exclusively focused on the fire alarm industry. Founded in 1953 in Chicago, Illinois by a mixed group of contractors, engineers, and manufacturers. Membership consists of manufacturer reps, designers, engineers, technicians, distributors, AHJ's, and end users. AFAA's primary focus includes active participation in the codes and standards making process of both the International Code Council (ICC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). AFAA has representation on more than 50 NFPA Technical Committees. In addition, AFAA has representatives on UL Standards Technical Panels and the ICC Industry Advisory Committee. AFAA's second focus is the development and presentation of quality fire alarm training programs for the industry. The Portable Generator Manufacturers’ Association (PGMA) is a trade association that seeks to develop and influence safety and performance standards for our industry’s products.
